What is a good time to dead-end the main? it is about 32 ft. The kin is set at 13 feet. The plant will have 16 sets of side vines. 8 are burried now on each side.

I rarely terminate the main. Usually by day 30 the main barely is growing anymore. Some plants terminate the main on their own. If gains start to fall off later in the year I may actually terminate the main if it is still strong. With a kin at 13 ft and a 32ft main you must be past day 15, your main will start slowing down soon. Just curl it around the plant on the outside.
