Hi, my patch size is 1292 sq ft or 120m2.
We are a few months of from starting planting anything here yet, but was just interesting to here what you think might be the best option to do.

The patch is a little over 49ft, 15m on one side and a little over 26ft 8m on the other side making it a total of 1292 sq ft, 120m2.

Would you recommend planting just the one plant in this patch or go for two plants?
I am planning to plant the 2032 and maybe another if two plants is the better option.

So just interested to hear what you think might be the best option here.

Cheers.

I think 500-750 sq ft per plant.

Two plants (in the centre, back to back, main vines directed along the long side of the patch), and there is plenty of room for back-ups (each plant could face a back-up plant which is planted 2 m from the edge and grows towards the favorite plant). You will have big plants before you need to make a decision whether to go with the favorite plant or with the back-up, perhaps enough time to find out if one of them doesn´t produce decent females, grows ribbon vines etc. etc.

I would plant 4 2x2 back to back and pick one from each two after you decide which ones looks the best.

Cheers, two looks like the best option then, with planting another two at the opposite ends as back ups.

Just wasn't too sure if the patch was a tad small if i decided to go with two plants.

But talking to a few and looking around, it looks like it should be fine.
Cheers again.
Greatly appreciated.
