Most of my fertilizers are foliar sprays. Is there an easy way to spray under the leaves. Up to now I find it a bit of a challenge. Would putting a 90 degree fitting by my spray nozzle help??

I just turn the sprayer nozzle on my sprayer tank upside down. I doubt that this helps, as you must be using some other spraying method, though I have not had a problem doing it so far with my pump sprayer.

You could also look into a blower/mister.

Hey Peter, this is what I use. http://www.misterduster.com/default.asp Best money I ever spent. five years old I think, and still going strong. Another grower near me made one with an old hand pump backpack sprayer and a hand held leaf blower. Just fill up the backpack and put it on, then using some sort of quick connect attach it to a small hose with an adjustment valve so it dibbles into the end of the blower. You need to bypass the pump on the backpack so it just feeds into the blower end by gravity. If you are handy you can make your own like that.

Darren did you put the end of the spray nozzle from the pump sprayer on the end of the plastic hose, or did you use something else?

Ya I used the spray nozzle. I got the elbow fitting and tubing from tractor supply. I don't remember what size. I just took the sprayer parts down to the store and started to fit stuff together. It puts the spray right where I want it top or bottom of the leaf. Blowers are nice BUT..........http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=218713 http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=185221
