Am I safe alternating Companion and Daconil every other week for disease control? Comments please.

Daconil is a fungicide, companion is a beneficial bacteria so I think they are compatible. A fungicide should not kill bacteria. I have not found companion to be effective as a foliar, it's better as a soil drench in my experience.

Companion is bacterial strain that colonize the roots, Serenade is an almost identical strain, but can live on the foliage. Daconil, like many fungicides shred or perforate the outer membrane of the fungus or mildew, which provide easy access for the bacteria in Serenade to finish the job. Put both in a sprayer at the same time, and unleash a campaign of shock and awe. The fungicide will not hurt the bacteria.

The only thing that gets through winter is reading everything I can related to pumpkin growing. Chris, I know you know exactly what I'm taking about, hours spent on the internet, books and DVD's from Amazon and other websites, networking with other growers. So much to learn.
