What goes through your mind as you bury vines?

Why am I doing this....cuz I always end upwith a mushy vine! Maybe I'm doing it wrong...also don't see the sense of un burying vines later...I'm done burying vines...I'm putting a clod of dirt mix at each node

Ha Ha maybe I am just not right in the head but I like burying vines and I always wish there were more to bury when I am done. If you have a lot of vines to bury, it's a sign that the plant is growing strong.
