Farming- a bunch of catastrophies that result in a lifestyle

My squash plant has a female on the vine. Blossom is very green still. There are numerous males which SHOULD beat her to opening but not by much...
Isnt this a little soon? Its only 38 days from seed! Plant is healthy, vibrant, growing like crazy. The main vine is about 3 1/2' and it has several secondaries which have just started. Should i worry over this early arrival?
This plant set early last year, at about 8' but the kin split at blossom end around 80 pounds or so. It didnt set again till around 25'. (Bad soil last year)
Any advice? Please? I know your all super busy..

I had a pumpkin pollinate and take at 7 feet out on my 840 last year on day 49 or 50. I culled it and it gave me a bunch more females through out the season.

So it isn't necessarily an indication of a problem then?

I agree on stress, though what stress (if it is stress) it could be. This plant averages 86 during peek sun, 62 at night. Definately not temp. As to boys- there are a ton, several quite tall w a head on them. If i was betting id say dang near opening together. 4' of plant isnt enough to support a kin, so moot point tgere. My concern is that this early female development is an indicator of a nutrient imbalance....yet soil test was great. Maybe she is just raring to go? Lol.

My plant had both males and females very early, it was never stressed until later when I had gummy stem disease from what I think was bad compost. That wasn't until July if I recall right.

The only stress it had was surviving a hail storm that did completely take out another plant by severing the main in half. Maybe that was it. I wouldn't worry so much about too many flowers, usually it is the opposite. If can't sleep and have the cash, do a tissue test.
