Last night we had our annual 4-H and FFA youth Giant Pumpkins Grower mini seminar at Letchworth School. Thanks to the FFA students, every participant received two containers of started AG'S. The kids were all excited about the coming season.These are the heavy hitters of 20 years from now. I figure, I may never be a heavy hitter...but every child we encourage now- will be the future of our growing.We need to give them all the support we can.
I also want to thank the School Board and Administration for allowing us to start the plants in the beautiful FFA greenhouse facility attached to the school.
As a thank-you to the school, I donated all the materials to construct a quite complex irrigation system in the name of NYSPG and GPC to the FFA greenhouse program. It was the least I could do for their awesome help.
Special thanks to the support of Andy Wolf and Pap and Ron Wallace. If I have forgot someone, my sincere apologies.
Let the growing begin.
If anyone wants to start a similar program and might was a few suggestions please contact me. I believe we need to get these youth growers growing throughout the GPC World.

I am only me. I hope others will carry the torch of GPC- AG growing by encouraging our future growers.
PS- I always get the milk question! I suggest they might just drink the milk and become strong growers than using it to feed vines. lol
