Feather meal...and I know they have it at the Southern States Co-op in Virginia.I see it on the net also and its fairly inexpensive.Hope that helps.

Scott's natural lawncare fertilizer which you can usually find at Lowe's and Home Depot is mostly feather meal plus a little blood and bone meal. Works well as a protein based slow release nitrogen.
