How is everybody's 1985 doing? Also a question, does anyone know what the 1725 Harp, that was the pollen parent grew? Our 1985 is Kicking Butt and takin names! Good Luck to all. Iris.

Iris, My 1985 has massive cot leaves and a stem just long enough to keep them out of the soil. The first true leaf is standing up very quickly. I an anxious to get it out into the patch and see it take off. So far this is an excellent plant.

@wixom-grower, I have the impression you misunderstood the question.
@Iris, the answer to your 1725 question might be somewhere in this thread:

I know the 1725 is a 1385 Jutras selfed. But the specific 1725 Harp that was used to pollinate the 2009 Wallace to produce the 1985 Miller? What did it produce? I think ole So. Cal. Grower might know the answer!!! Good Luck to all. Iris.

According to the thread that Pumpking listed (Thanks), Matt Mckonkie asked the same question. A fellow that had talked to Gary a few days earlier "thought the 1725 produced three pumpkns and the biggest one was 900 pounds". Thanks and good luck to all! Iris.

First out of the ground, biggest cot leaves I've ever seen on a pumpkin. The 1985 is awesome. Can't wait to see what it will do.
