I have an area that is 35 x 8 feet. What Growth pattern would work best to get the most out of my pumpkins? Where Should I plant My pumpkin? Thanks!

Run it like an "E" its called a flag pattern. Start on the outside edge. Remove all the side vines that try growing the other way. _____________________________________________ StartI I I Pumpkin I I I I I I I I I

I would try a modified flag pattern something like this.

Turning them like this would give you some extra length on your first several side vines. Just be very careful when you put the bends in them and do it gradually to avoid snapping the vines.

Flag pattern or "E" or straight down middle with 4 foot side vines. Either way, you can grow the main way after the set pumpkin for back feed. There have many discussions on here about that but in all its a good thing.

one side is a wall, the other is a concrete path so no more room to expand. Thanks for all the help!

You mentioned pumpkins as in plural, more than one? Not sure your goal but if looking for size just one pumpkin plant in that sized spot.

You could plant 5ft into the center and train your sides vines at a 45degree angle to the main.
