Hi,
One of my seeds came up recently, and it has a hole in each cot leaf in the same areas, almost as though they had ben made with a skewer that had been punched through the leaves when they were stull clasped together. Also, there are reddish bruise marks on the area surrounding the wound. They were there when i took the seed cover off of the leaves, though they do not affect the whole cot leaf surface. Should I be worried about this? Thanks!

In my limited experience with growing giant pumpkins I've had some strange-looking cots on occasion and never felt they had any adverse effects on the plant. In fact, I've had some rough first true leaves and still felt the plants did fine.
