Some have already started their diary entries for the contest so let the fun begin. We wish everyone good luck. Grow something huge and remember rule # 1...It will be fun !

Hmmm pa pumpkin pharmer is in... How about allowing a late entry? I will vow to beat him with his own seed, the 746 Snyder. I know rules are rules but very few growers might have started so far! Jim Gerhardt

Jim, it sounds like fun and I'd like to be able to do that but like you said rules are rules and others have ask late to enter and we had to decline them also. There is nothing that prevents you from going head to head on your own.

Just out of interest, what will this years reference object be or is it growers choice?

Orangeneck,
I plan on using your 811 in the 150 contest, so at least you can participate by proxy :) My goal is to win The 150 contest and the Howard Dill award at Central Market with the same pumpkin.

Jim,

Lets do it! I'll grow two 150'ers, one for Team-Pumpkin contest and we'll do a head-to-head with 746's! How does that sound?
