I was just wondering if adding a little fertilizer with the Myco as you bury the vines would be a good Idea! I figure something so the Myco can feed on! any thoughts on this type practice.

Here is a link to one of the better articles I have read about mycorrhizae.
http://theearthproject.org/id62.html

The best way to "feed" the myco would be some humic/fulvic and have active plant roots for it to become established on. The paragraph on Colonization mentions the humics and further down the part about propagation mention how arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi are obligate symbionts (need roots). They are a little like root zombies, "must have roots!"
It's a good two cup read, I always need a second cup of coffee to get through it. Also, the links to other articles are great as well.

I mix my myco with Jobes Organics and Espoma Starter plus which have a little myco and a whole bunch of beneficial bacteria in them. They are very mild, organic ferts and I think it helps to get a little extra right in the root zone. Just my opinion.

I was thinking of sprinkling some organic 6-2-2 fert when I bury the vines, with the mycor. Would this be a benifit?
The Fertilizer I have, has shrimp meal, kelp meal, feather meal, natural potassium,,gypsum.

I dont know if your soil is good & jacked like most of our soil is.Dont we want the roots to go in search of Phosphorous. If you feed them.the they can get lazy and stay put? Just a thought.maybe not a good one.?? Any feedback?
