Had back surgery last October on L3-4, L4-5 discs that damaged nerves causing me to lose most of my motor function to my left quadriceps and some adjacent muscles. My back feels good, my left quad function is another matter, some what limited quad function, improving though very slowly, there is no definitive time table or out come when dealing with peripherial nerve regeneration. Axon regrowth occurs at about 1mm a day or 1.18 inches a month from the point where the damage occurred to the farthest out reaches of the affected muscles. So as you can see it takes a while to see the final out come. What ever you end up with at the end of two years is all your going to get back as far as the motor function. I'm getting around Ok just no leg strength. takes me 4 times longer to get anything done especially on snow and ice. Anyway, I may stick one in the ground at a much later date than usual.
