looks to me like it is down to 3 possible winners

123tcan123 will finish first place in any scenario other than Wisconsin winning the national championship

6tierneys will finish first if Wisconsin wins it all

Desroska will tie 123tcan123 for first if neither Wisconsin or Florida make the championship game. I am not sure what the tiebreaker is.

Everyone else is already mathematically eliminated.

You could be right. I think those who came forward and started gathering prizes (seeds) wanted a system where first place gets first pick of the seeds, second gets to pick next, etc., perhaps up to... 10 seeds? So quite a few folks should stay tuned. Tiebreaker scores of the final game will likely play a role.

I only saw one for Rookiesmom, it has Florida winning, but is tied for 52nd. Rookie, your #2 pick is not listed in giantpumpkin group or any group for that matter. Not that I care but thats why you may be out of luck. Its a good bracket though.

The powers that be informed me that normally about four places are awarded. This cuts down on the number of different bubbles needing to be sent out by the gracious seed donors. I don't want to put a burden on anybody. Some people donated quite a few seeds and if they would have to send out ten different bubbles it would get pricey.
So what I'm thinking is four places with each picking one seed from two different groups. The leftover seeds would then be kept by the donors or they could send them out to the next places on down the line. Their call if they would like to see someone else grow them.
Does this sound O.K.? I'm not trying to step on any ones toes here. Just trying to fill in.

Rookie, the link you posted is good. But its not entered in the bigpumpkins group, if it was you would be listed in 5th place. If you click on Rookiesmom 1 you'll see what I mean. It is confusing when you put 2 brackets in one group. As far as I'm concerned it should count, but i think its up to the rest of the group members. Just trying to stop any confusion in the end. If I'm wrong will somebody please clarify. Cliff or Captain?

Four overall prizes is OK. Last year I got 5th, and I got the last prize offered, which was a large set of giant tomato and long gourd seeds. (This led to me actually increasing my long gourd space this year!) If you want to add a 5th place, I would not argue. ;-)

As for qualifying brackets, you get two and only two, and I just gotta say, they have to be inside the bigpumpkins.com group on ESPN. I mean, ESPN allows a user to have 10 overall brackets, but the ones you want to count have to be in the group before the tournament starts. I think that's only fair.

It can get crazy with prizes towards the end. I would start collecting seed prizes in Dec and still would be behind. ..lol
I would always try to send a bubble to those that offered seeds so they would be with me to mail out ASAP. You guys doing it this year should be commended, it gets crazy.
Things are slowly getting better for me and I promise to have some nice packages. You did get the final package Cliff but honestly the tomatoe collection was my favorite

Ok guys its not that big a deal. I had fun doing the bracket so I'll leave it at that. I don't know why it did not take under BP group but that's life.

Trying to figure out all of the scenarios. for me to finish top 4. :)
I am sitting tied in 6th but the other two have Florida winning it all. So I need Florida to win the first game and lose in the final which means all 3 of us would leapfrog Deroska and Scott Steil into a tie for 4th. However Wisconsin would also have to lose their first game otherwise Bromojo will jump to first and push the 3 of us back to 5th. So basically I need Kentucky to win the National Championship over Florida and I cant stand Kentucky!
