What the hell happened? I'm seeing 2-3 lbs go for over 50.00 depending on brand. Tom used to sell RTI's pumpkin pro for 8.75 per lb. is there a reasoning behind any of this or just gouging at it's finest?

No idea on the Pumpkin Pro, but the RTI Mykos retails at $20 for a 1 lb bag and has been at the price for a couple of years.

Handy, are you saying that RTI has a new strain of mycorrhizae that is "stronger" or is it that their new product will be more concentrated?

The spore count on the bags I have from them are exactly the same as last year. Certainly not the highest on the market, but very affordable for the price I'm getting it at.

Handy, I've used Bi-Endo from Hollands and RTI Pumpkin Pro in the past. As long as the product I'm purchasing is within the expiration date, I don't make to much of a fuss over brand,. I chose the products for the reason of supporting fellow growers businesses. If the spore counts are higher, than application rates should drop right? In years past, I used 5lbs a plant. I came across an old reciept for extremepumpkinstore.com in 2012. 10lbs came out to 75.00 before shipping, tax etc..

Info put out at Orlando seminar.
They will sell direct..
Call 1800RTIGROW (784-4769) 8-5 Pacific and ask to talk to Alice, Cristina or Alex. Tell them you are a Giant Vegetable Grower. They will get you the best price. If a club goes together and orders over $500 worth they are offering a 10% discount (but they can only ship 20 lbs at a time to Canada).
