Got lucky here in CT. Had 3 warm days and got soil sample out. Everything is frozen again. Good luck CO guys, impressive year for all you guys last season. I cannot wait to see what the Wiz and the Biz produce this year.

We had 6 inches of snow last night it is cold as crap with a high of 31 today. Quite the change from 65 Saturday. It was 75 last weekend but just for one day. The Va norm is one measurable snowfall every decade but this is #3 just this year! We planted some things in the garden in a small window of warmth because it was windy this past week to dry things up. Really cold soil temps here. I need to buy heating cables for the Giants for sure..

I took a soil sample 2 days ago - I could barely get the shovel down to 6 inches. I had to pry the dirt apart - it was frozen together with lots of pretty crystals. :) Should have results by this Friday. Hopefully the ground thaws soon. Winter does not want to let go.
