Going to start my seeds in a heated green house!! The way this winter has been it could take me a while to get them transplant into the garden!! Is it going to hurt the roots if they r n a pot for more than two weeks. If so what is the biggest pot I can get!!!!

You could use 5 gallon buckets by cutting off the bottom of the bucket and placing a removable lid on the top which will now become the bottom. Transplanting to the garden just remove the lid and the plant will slide out the bottom. Also, remember to drill some drainage holes in the lids.

Why not wait and start them about two weeks before your plant out date. Maybe then you will have your patch ready and waiting. Also, your plants will not be root bound. Why have to try and transplant from a big ole pot.
