Saturday we had a great time visiting with friends, swapping seeds, seed auction & raffle. Tim Mathison spoke about his outstanding season and awards brought home from Orlando were presented.
Very special thanks to Pete and Cindi Glasier and the Cosumnes community park group for all their hard work to put this event together.

Thanks Chris! it was great to get to meet you and to see Kevin again! We hope to see you all at a weighoff with HUGE pumpkins!!! Glad to see So Cal back growing again.

Good times for sure! It was fun putting the loads and loads of amazing seeds on the tables early. Kevin may be getting the bug again,,,,,,,, he's been calling and talking pumpkins more and more! The last time he weighed a pumpkin or squash, a 1000 pounds was a monster. He was amazed at how much the wights have gone up in the past 8 years!!

Great meeting you in person too Brad, always nice to put a face to a keyboard:)

Chris, we do get a good bunch of seeds for our seed table. NOBODY goes home without plenty of seeds! AND we had a lot of good help with the meeting. We are so lucky to have Elk Grove Parks dept working with us. They have such nice facilities. The Local Lions Club put on the lunch! It takes a village....Glad to hear Kevin is getting enthused about pumpkins again. When we moved to Napa there were only like two growers...You guys can get the pumpkin addiction going down in So Cal

Looking at the pictures, it seems like Elk Grove "rivals" the general GPC event in attendance. One of these years I may make a "road trip" from Idaho.
