I was doing a little bit of research and found this article. I thought it was interesting that A. brasilense prefer a low oxygen concentration (0.4%). I am going to try and grow my own using this information. I will let you know if I'm successful.

Also reading through the article it is interesting to note that the A. brasilense do not donate nitrogen. The nitrogen is only released if the A. brasilense are killed due to tillage or other factors.

Most of you already know A. brasilense is a great tool to help improve our soil because it produces a variety of plant hormones and can help raise the %OM. Please post other A. brasilense articles here if you find them.

I have definitely seen the growth boosting effects of Azos, probably based on the auxins the bacteria releases. I was under the impression that the atmospheric nitrogen flowed from the bacteria to the plant - that perspective based on XTreme Gardening's product description. " Azos is a beneficial microbe that can enhance growth by converting atmospheric nitrogen into a useable form available to plant roots. "
