I've been noticing some pretty high temperatures in California for this time of year. I start my seeds in 1 month, but it already seems like its time to plant. Just thought that I would point this out, and I would like to hear from other people from different parts of California. If Im lucky, I may not have to use a mini greenhouse this year.

Chris,
It'll be raining by tomorrow afternoon here. Then it will rain south of here toward your neck of the woods, more severe than here. Expect to travel to the forum in the rain. Travel safely!
Ashton,
Plan to use your cold frame(s), the minute that you let your guard down, Mother Nature will ruin your day.

Brad, I plan on catching 600 gallons on Thursday before the big one hits on Friday while making the drive up:)

They are calling this the biggest storm to hit our our area in 2 to 3 years! We'll be fine here but the people living in the hills and the burn areas are going to be a mess. 5 to 8 inches is expected from this storm that covers 4.4 million square miles just off the pacific coast!

Its going to be a good one!!!

Snowed another foot last night on top of the foot or more we already had. More to come and turning really cold. Most snow since 1996 and the coldest I've known.

I am so tired of snow. Had to take tractor and loader to clear a trail to get hay to my cattle. The tractor would stall out if I didn't and it is 4 wd with clawed chains on the front. Guess what? It's still snowing. It's deep. Dagnabitt!
