The 2015 GPC Convention will be in Wilkes-Barre PA at the Genetti Hotel.

Easily withing driving distances for most growers in the East, from both U.S and Canada.


In 2016 it will be in Lymington England.

I'm sure it will be the biggest in numbers due to the location. Doesn't look like much to do in the area but only a 7.5 hour drive for me.

March 20-23, 2015 for Wilkes-Barre & the starting conference fee will be $95 for all sessions & a lunch. Rooms start at $95 per double occupancy under our group.

There is a Casino 10 minutes away & they say they have a shuttle running between the hotel & casino. The Pocono's are very close & NYC is 2 hours away. The most important part is there are less distractions for more networking time with all of your pumpkin friends!!!!

If someone was flying in from out of state for the 2015 Conference, would flying into Philadelphia then renting a car to drive to Wilkes-Barre be the way to go?

Or fly from Philadelphia into Wilkes Barre/Scranton airport. ( AVP code, actually in Avoca PA.) Its a short drive from there to the Genetti Hotel.

AVP is not a major hub but a nice sized and recently renovated airport. They handle Allegiant, Delta, United and US Airways.. I am sure they have a website for all to check out.

I checked flights from San Francisco to AVP & was pleasantly surprised to see round trip with 1 stop at O'Hare for $450. With the amount of growers that will drive & the Hotel has a shuttle there should be no issues flying in.
