What is difference between RTI pumpkin pro vs Mykos? I emailed RTI but they do not respond which is disappointing. What does everyone prefer when it comes to myco?

Every year this brings up a fight on here. I have used both RTI and Holland's. With good results. The year I grew my Personal Best I used Holland's.

I am not aware of any studies that compare the different brands. As a result we only have the labels to compare one product to another.

So Much focus has been put on spore content vs propagule content. But as you get into higher spore products prices seem to take off to an unreasonable level. but really in the end it is the storage of the product that will be the deciding factor in the quality of a Myco product. The producing company knows how to store their product but does the wholesale follow their recommendations. With this being said buy from a reputable source and/or direct from producer when possible. And remmeber to refridgerate your myco at about 40F for 2 weeks- 3 months prior to application as this ensures proper stratification of the spores and increases actual spore germination and spore activity in the soil.

A bag containing 10 well germing spores is much more effective than a bag containing 5 million dead spores.

What about storage during growing periods, like when vine burying through July? I have usually kept mine outside in a container and I bet it reaches well over 110 in that container... never thought about that.

So if I get some now is it best to store in fridge or just in basement?

afveteran if your basement is 40 degrees then that is fine, if not use a refridgerator.
