3 of my pumpkins from 2013 were given to an artist who wanted to make concrete casts of some big fruit.

The link shows casts made of my 427 and 978.

So far only the concrete 427 has been weighed and the 978 will be done shortly.

Any guesses in on the weights?

If they are solid, the 427 will be 1381 kg. and the 978 will be 1766kg.

I'll guess 1200 lbs. and 2900 lbs.
If we win, do we get a seed out of the biggest concrete pumpkin?

I was going to offer the winner a bag of pebbles but so far your all way off.

Both are solid and the concrete 427 actually weighed 437 lbs. Never would have guessed it myself.

Maybe the 978 actually hit 1000 lbs but need to wait and see

Vermiculite or Perlite for the aggregate with fiberglass insulation added for strength = concert with little more than the weight of water.
