This is the easiest game Seattle will have in the playoffs. Best defence in the league and a guy who can run, and a QB who doesn't make mistakes. Winning formula, based on past experience. Peyton will get his shots, but Seattle will have the ball a whole lot more.

Heck, I am torn between the two. They are both great teams. Growing up in Mississippi I watched Archie Manning [the father] play in college and he was great. Song written for him called Archie Who? Eli at Ole Miss and Peyton at Tennessee. Yes, they are good, no doubt about it. Based on that fact and loyalty I have to go WiZ. DAGGNABBIT I LIKE THE SEAHAWKS TOO! Really Wizz a 14 point spread, I don't think so, I'd say double that. Yep the spread will be closer to 28 than 14 for sure and Manning will break the yardage record. Oh and Denver can run the ball.

A outdoor game in potentially bad weather, in a winner takes all scenario , usually plays out as a conservative, close to the vest game . both teams trying to avoid the big mistake..both teams are deserving ..but you have to go with the defense as history has shown..seattle wins.. in a low scoring close game

Defense and game management will crush the the ponies. IE Saints offense rated high and they lost, San fransico rated as a high offensive team, they lost. Our offense scores more when we need to IE down 20-3 against Tampa and we come back to win it. Yes say what you will about Tampa but nonethe less it is a come from behind and shut down there offense. If you only have 2 -maybe 3 seconds to throw a ball and you CAN"T run out of a pocket to extend plays good luck scoring that many points Eddy and WiZzy.

After Peyton throws 2 tds, one to Wes and the other to Eric the Seahawks press to catch up. Lynch gets taken out of the game early even though he still has a big a game stats wise.
I really admire Russell Wilson. What a great young man and the future looks bright for him in life as well as football. I am very glad that he talks about his faith and Jesus Christ on the TV. My boy Tim Tebow helped to pave the way I hope for athletes to continue to speak out on good subject.

I am with pap on this one, been following the Manning's for a long time. Grew up in the same area as Archie the father. I won't see much of the game since I will be travelling to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on that day. 17 degrees and lots of snow here in Montana; 81 degrees there. Lay in the sun for 2 wks; back for 3 days then off to New Orleans for a week and a wedding. Gonna eat some of that good cajun coookin. Umm Ummm. Good luck too all. See Ya! Griz

I really like Manning and I wish he could win this one. But the Hawks... Anyone calling for a big offense output against them hasn't been watching much football this year! Ok, well, we shall see. The only offense the niners generated was when Kapernick ran. Peyton doesn't run. And the niners, despite their incredible defense, didn't stop beast mode. Call me crazy or overconfident, but it has never been this easy.

Interesting article in the paper this morning. John Elway lived in Missoula, Montana for 5 years as a kid. His dad was an assistant coach for the Montana Grizzlies. In 69 & 70 those teams went undefeated. Elway was described as a skinny kid weighing not more than 70 lbs but could throw a 100 MPH baseball. And you all know the rest of the story.

It looks like the weather in NJ is going to be cold and windy WHICH means the running game is going to be the way to go. Seattle is a run-first offense. Denver isn't known for their running game. We're going to go "beast-mode" tomorrow. I don't think it's going to be a low-scoring game. I pick Seattle 34-17. I betcha that at least one of our TD's will be a defensive pick 6.
