Just a little heads up on the Worldwidegiantgrowers.com class that will open to awl growers on Jan 15th.Present members can rejoin now if they like. Its official the AG Pumpkin class will have a 1000$ 1st prize as well as the Giant watermelon class.The rest is basically the same as 2013.Except lopes have dropped a bit.I will iron out final details & close out 2013 in the next 10 days.2014 will ROCK!!PUNK ON!!

Thanks for taking the Bubba/Smokey challenge,I see your in Tennessee.Same as Chris Kent he has grown some 1000 pound plus kins.The biggest thing you have to fight is the heat,which also brings on the diseases.So you will want to use all three products Piranha/Trantula/Voodoo Juice.Not trying to make a sale here,just letting you know what we are using to keep them healthy& aggressive .You get 1 product with each class you enter plus you win seeds & the chance to win cash money.Watermelons & cantaloupes do real well where your at.You can grow a watermelon in a 12x12 area & a cantaloupe about a 10X10 area if your tight on space.Just a FYI.or you can just buy the products to grow your kin.Thanks for joining & may 2014 Rock for you!! Handy...Muddy Waters, I am assuming that grafted melon plants will be acceptable? The reason I ask, is cause on bp.com, which normally list's the new pkn, squash, and melon records...Chris's 350.5 is still not listed? Curious as to wether, graft's qualify as a winner or not? Peace, Wayne
