Root accelerators! Mycorrhizaes benefecial bacteria/Thricodermas etc.depending on your soil. These are most likely the most important thing you need.

#1 soil improvement - truckload of compost or manure (often can be found for free), cover crops, soil test, etc
#2 Mycorrhizae and vine burying ferts like blood bone and kelp meal
#3 irrigation lines, emitters, and timers.
#4 insecticides and fungicides
#5 lifting sling, tripod, skid steer or crane rental to get a new WR out of your patch.

that's how I would prioritize. you may be set in some areas already...

Orangeneck (Team HAMMER)

Eastern Pennsylvania

1 compost and a balanced foliar fertilizer

2 insecticide and fungicide with as much variety in modes of action as possible

I'd have spent all the $250 by then.

Jordan,

If I were you I would invest that money into soil prep and plant health. I prefer biological fungicides like companion, actinovate, and serenade max along with chemical fungicide rotations but these biologicals are expensive, so just stick to the chemical fungicides. After soil prep and making sure that the plant is healthy look into the use of mycorrhizae, as mycorrhizae lets the roots use fertilizers and water more easily which saves a lot of money.

The first $35 should be on a soil test and go from there.

Jordan, I hope this is not too late, but I had a good look at your diary from the past couple of years, and to me....where you grow looks like sand and dust!!

You need better soil and truck loads of it. Find a good local supplier of a composted manure/compost blend and incorporate several yards of that into your growing area.
