I don't think any one has done one yet? But I am very currious myself as to what people think it will be? I wil be growing two 220 snowball seeds for my research project next year. I think they have great potentional of being the top seed. Thus my top three are
1. 2009 wallace 2. 220 debacco 3. A On heard of seed

your picks are also my top 2. here are some other choices.
1985 Miller 1676.5 Daletas 1730 Werner 1734 Steil (220.3 Debacco's close relitive) 1789 Last but not least; 1766 Debacco has heavy hitter genetics all of the way around.

From this years crop and if they gets planted my top 3: 282 Scherber (1789 clone that grew 2009 x self) don't be afraid of these genetic crosses 1784 Glazier (1730.5 Werner x 1770.5 Lieber)1730.5 proved it can go big. This coming generation should be big and heavy. All grandparents 10-15% heavy. 1734 Steil (220.3 DeBacco x self) possibly the best of the 220.3 and selfed no less. This one on anything could be special in a couple years but I sure would like to see it on a good 1770.5 Lieber

Just because where it's from and will be grown, I will say one of the Mathison seeds, or Millers , other than that I like the 1169 Pettit.

Have to go with the 2032 Mathison (2009 X 1554). The 1554 has grown one over 1874 pounds and the 2009 grows them off the chart.

There's some great seeds out there, but it'll be this California environment that will grow them the biggest.

Woodrow Lancaster, YES! He grew most seriously to get his 1746.5 with his own breed of opposite parent plants: Rose 1554 vs. The Freak in both directions. nitro3custom, I thank you so much for meantioning Lancaster! I only need AGs as pollinators for edible pumpkins, to enhance their weight a little. And so I always seek for solid AG genetics. Could there be any chance for me to get 1746.5 Lancaster 13 seed?

Amelio? Far from it. Good morning Pap. I'm just stirring up a friendly challenge. There's no disrespect intended to any of the skilled growers across this community. The fine growers here in Calif. have just had a phenomenal season and are all fired up to repeat their successes. I could only hope to become the grower that they are and weigh in pumpkins of the same caliber. Of course, that you & Ron and some other notable growers will return to the patch, in addition to all those who have worked so hard to be at the top of their game, the challenge will be that much greater this coming season. The bottom line here as I see it is that no part of this community could have become so successful without all the toil of effort & learning that you, Ron and all the other giant pumpkin growers past and present have contributed to the rest of the group. May all the growers be winners!

I like all the Mathison seeds, especially the 1894 which was pollinated by the plant that grew the 2032. of course the 1874 and 2032 are reciprocal crosses and should be equally good.

Our best seed for 2014 definitely is a selfed world record out of the old millennium 1192 Burke 98 from 2004.
