I think if you put the 1791 seed with the video for 35$ or 40$ .You would sell a lot of them.Just a suggestion. If you do I will take one.

We had a very low seed count on the 1791-very disappointing, otherwise we would have offered it with the DVD. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very successful pumpkin patch next year-J & ML

Just curious how many flowers did you use to pollinate the 1791?? I just ask because I used more then one & came back thirty minutes later I pollinate again. No bees in the kin cave.I had a decent count in Tiny 1317.The 2009 was a great plant Big leafs & healthy. It will be interseting to see will I get a small leaf plant or big??

Handy, There are over 6000 pollen grains on each male. I dont think multiple flowers and multiple times makes any difference. I had good seed counts using 1 male on 2 or 3 females.

Thanks everyone. I do try and use 3 or more males per female blossom when they are available. Who knows what causes low seed count, perhaps it was an environmental factor. It is often cool and damp here in June.

Well Tom if the pollen is not at its peak time.Say your a bit early Then coming back in 30 minutes or using multiple flowers would increase your odds of a good seed count. It certainly cant hurt.

Bubba always said "The window of Ovulation is obscure, so be certain to send the cure. Many males will prevail! The more stroking & poking! The more seeding for breeding! So what the hell!" LOL!
