Pumpkinmania weigh off will be held next saturday at Tanaka Farms in Irvine. Registration is from 8am to 11am. Hope everyone can make it. Hope to see many new faces there as the number of growers from southern california has jumped on bigpumpkins.com. Me and my 2 year old son will be attending. We missed last years weigh off. The family and I will be there too! Sounds like your son will be bringing a pumpkin Jim, well,,,,,, he might win youngest but Kingston's has a solid 170 pounder ready to hit the scale!!!

I haven't been sleeping to good at night :)

Chris, you guys gotta make sure that Vince has enough guys and/or a lifting system worked out to make sure he gets his first 1K fruit to a weighoff.

A tripod lifter is easier to make and simple to use!!

Vince, you must rally the troops and take that awesome pumpkin to the weighoff.

It would be great for Chris and Vince to break the 1K mark....to gettem' guys!!

I will be there! I bought a hoist today and will be building a tripod tomorrow. I think we are in for a real close competition.
