It looks like HMB turned into the "California Weigh off at the Bay" this year. How many names in that top ten are from out of state? Only Russ? It will be nice to see some names from Oregon in that top ten next year! I'm pulling for you guys! (Steve, Thad, Jim, and others)

Concerning the DMG pumpkin. A grower brought a 950lb pumpkin to get an official weight only. It had a totally blown blossom end that had been caulked. There was no attempt to get it by the eagle eyes of judges Ron Root and Rob Globus with their magnifying glasses, mirrors and body probes.
