What will Half Moon bay and Friedrich's have in store for us? Another world record, I'd guess. I still won't hit my predicted average of 1851 lbs. for the top ten weigh off sites, though. Unless the winners of those two weigh offs are 2400 and 2500 pounds, which is unlikely. How fun it is to see pumpkin weights explode like they have the last few years! It doesn't seem all that long ago at all that people were asking what the ceiling would be on weights for pumpkins and numerous people said that 2000 would never be attained simply because the physics of gravity and pumpkin flesh and wall thickness wouldn't allow it. I'm predicting that in ten years we will see 3500 lbs.
