...has been calibrated to 2500lbs. Hmmm. There's a $5000 reward for the pumpkin that comes closest to or beats that threshold...

I believe pre-weigh-off excitement for Stillwater is getting fever pitched. FYI: I won the pumpkin weigh-off there last year and have a decent chance to set a new state record this year (I don't pre-weigh). My Bad Boy Zero Turn (orange) mower will remind me of winning everytime I cut the lawn! :)
Good luck everyone.

I'm thinking of attending the Stillwater weighoff, with nothing to weigh(so you fella's have nothing to worry about from me LOL). Could someone please email me info. on location and time of the event? Thanks!

Weighoff Begins about 11 I believe in downtown next to the river, either North or South of the bridge. I keep hearing different spots, but either way you can't miss it.

Not sure where to post this. I've never grown a huge pumpkin (yet) but was wondering HOW you move the darn thing from the garden onto the truck? I can see 4 guys doing something with a 400-pounder, maybe, but the 1/2-ton GPs? Do you rent some sort of specialized equipment or what.

Thanks for the Stillwater info. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be going tomorrow. Maybe next year. Good luck to all the growers! I'll be impatiently waiting for the results.
