Just curious if anyone has ever grown pumpkin secondaries on a trellis, if so heave you got any ideas on how to do it?

growing verticaly i would think would not be very beneficial to the pumpkins growth. the secondary tap roots need to come in contact with soil be feed the plant. sun does help release sugars but with no nutrient intake? the sun wont matter as much. pap

My first year I grew some secondaries up a 4 foot trellis on the side of my patch. I am not sure if it really helped or not.

many many times.......no choice with tiny garden.its tough and gotta build a little bed to lay on...best I got 6 feet in air I believe was 207........and again this year it starts the same......tap roots will affect size for sure
