hi there everyone, i have read that the pumpkin vines with green pumpkins are more likely to be white pumpkins then squash, now if they are white and i hand pollinate with a male flower from the same vine will all the seeds in the pumpkin be white pumpkins seeds....thanks

Hi bunton, you read wrong. Remember, not everything you read on this site is posted by an experienced grower. If you have green baby pumpkins expect them to be squash unless you know some odd genetic information that leads you to believe otherwise.

Also the color of the seeds is not influenced by the pollinating plant whether selfed or not. If you self it and the seeds are white then that's what they were going to be regardless.
