I've been hoping for a vine to poke out of nowhere and at least get any size of kin. Plant is hail damaged. That has now happened and I can see what appears to be a future kin, but the fruit is green instead of yellow. Is it a dud or does it sometimes start out green. Wishfull thinking!!!!!

Sometimes they start out green. I've had it happen a few times over the past 20 years. We wish you all the best. We're cheering for you to get one started & hope to see you at one of the Ontario weigh offs.

Good luck,
Jane & Phil
