Well I am pleased to announce that Team-Pumpkin will be having a patch tour this year for all of those interesting in attending. It is the day after the New England/Vermont Tours so if you plan on traveling to either of these events and want to make it a weekend of 'Pumpkin Fun' you are welcome to join us. There will be four patches on the list located in the general area of central Connecticut.

Visit www.Team-Pumpkin.org for information on the home page and please contact me to let me know how many plan on coming and I will e-mail out the addresses and schedule along with times so you can participate in the tour.

Day: Sunday August 11th, 2013
Time: 9:00am
Location: Will be staring in the general area of the Durham Fair (e-mail for the exact address)
On the Tour list: Paul G. + Bart T. + Gary V. + Matt D.

Hope you can make it!

Speaking at least for my patch, you are welcome to bring your camera and take pictures of what you see. You can even post them in your diary;-)

Check with the other growers on the tour for their policies but this is mine.

abbynormal- You are welcome to bring a tape if you do not trust mine;-) As a little teaser it looks like the patch tour date lines up with a measurement day for my patch. So, for those that stay after lunch they can get the updated measurements of the pumpkins. This is also a great opportunity for new growers that want to see how a pumpkin is measured in the patch.

marley- Speaking at least for my patch any spores you bring will meet some friends;-) The humidity and rain has resulted in a great year for powdery mildew. Hope you can make the tour.

I trust your tape, I would never expect it to have 6 inches of dead space before the number 1..
