Does the use of a systemic fungicide (say, Ridimol Gold)have any effect on the Mycorrhizae living on the pumpkin plant's roots? Just a little curious :)
Cheers and God bless, Ben

Here is a great document that lists the compatibility of fungicides and Mycorrhizae. It looks like Ridomil Gold is compatible. Hope this helps.

You got to know your poison. I'll paste in a link here for a page that rates various fungicides and their effects on mycor. It is a concern worth a little study. I always encourage people do know what the actual chemical (or chemicals) in a brand are. The cute trade names don't tell the whole story. And follow directions. http://www.mycorrhizae.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/Effects-of-Fungicides-on-Mycorrhizal-Fungi1.pdf
Ps, Ben always enjoy your postings.
