Not all males are created equal !!! I'm not sure how many new...and/or veteran growers actually look at the male flowers to check for pollen? Pumpkin pollen is very easy to see with the naked eye. Some very nice looking flowers in the bouquet did not have very much, if any, pollen. A pollination failure may have nothing to do with technique or temperature but of the lack of pollen. I hope mine takes !!
